This suite of nine benches was designed to offer moments of comfort and reflection throughout the Obama Presidential Center. Each bench is designed to have variable depth so that people of all shapes and sizes can enjoy a seat. They also feature supportive hand rails, integrated audio systems, and soft lighting for broad accessibility consideration.

Before being asked to design the seating for the Center, Teague was initially invited to consult on the project as a South Side resident, and life-long Chicagoan.
